Toyota has launched a new marketing campaign aimed at promoting it vision to reach carbon neutrality with its products, services and operations. The campaign, known as ‘Electrified Diversified,’ has premiered with a 30 second commercial developed by Saatchi & Saatchi, a huge advertising agency.

Unlike many of its rivals that have committed to build nothing but EVs in the future, Toyota is proud to offer a host of different powertrain options for consumers to choose from, including battery-electric vehicles, hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and fuel-cell powered vehicles. The campaign highlights many of the brand’s popular models, including the Tundra Hybrid, Sienna, Prius, bZ4X, and the Mirai.

The commercial aims to highlight the “unlimited possibilities” presented by Toyota’s range of carbon-emissions-reducing vehicles. It includes shots of a Tundra Hybrid being driven through mud while also showcasing the new Prius, a family barbeque by the seaside, and a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid on a trip to the snow.

“Toyota offers more low and zero emission vehicles combined than any other automaker including battery electric, hybrid electric, plug-in hybrid electric and fuel cell electric offerings,” Toyota vice president of vehicle marketing & communications Mike Tripp said. “Beyond Zero is all about giving our customers a choice, and we’re excited to offer a wide range of vehicles featuring a diverse portfolio of electrified powertrains to best fit our customers’ lifestyles, helping to reduce their carbon footprint today.”

Toyota currently offers 16 electrified vehicles, consisting of 12 hybrids, two plug-in hybrids, the all-electric bZ4X, and the Mirai. The commercial aims to highlight the brand’s Beyond Zero where it plans to not only go “beyond zero” emissions but wants to reach a point where its “products and services only make a positive contribution to society.”
