Few would look at the Mercedes-Benz V 300d and consider it a tune-worthy vehicle but that didn’t stop Manhart from working its magic on the German minivan.

The tuner’s latest project is called the V 350, starting its transformation by installing the Inferno bodykit from TopCar. This kit makes the V-Class look a little like an AMG product, thanks primarily to the new bumper with the large air intakes and gloss black elements. A new front grille has also been fitted, adding some extra menace to the front end. This grille is complemented by a distinctive hood.

Manhart has also equipped the Mercedes with flared front and rear wheel arches and a set of deeper side skirts. Body changes continue at the rear with a new bumper and diffuser. All of the parts from TopCar are made from lightweight carbon fiber and can be painted to match the rest of the bodywork or bathed in gloss black.

Manhart Gives The Mercedes V-Class A Dash Of Pizzazz

Rounding out the visual modifications are a set of 20-inch Manhart wheels complete with a black finish. The van’s ride height has also been dropped by 25 mm (1 inch) and it has been fitted with new quad tailpipes.

A little bit of work has also been done to the van’s 2.2-liter biturbo four-cylinder diesel engine. The fitment of Manhart’s MHtronik control unit means the van is now good for 280 hp and 431 lb-ft (585 Nm) of torque, solid figures for a vehicle that will likely be used as a comfortable family vehicle.

All of the aforementioned parts for the V-Class are sold individually by Manhart. Prices vary from €625 ($673) for the new front grille to €4,685 ($5,045) for the complete rear bumper and carbon fiber diffuser.
