Fancy yourself as a skilled racing driver looking for a dedicated track car and willing to spend over $100,000? Well, this Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo race car could be the perfect weapon of choice.

Mercedes-Benz launched the GT3 racing version of the AMG GT back in 2015 and followed it up with the improved Evo package in 2019. This AMG GT3 started as a ‘regular’ race car before receiving the Evo upgrades as part of a retrofit package in May 2021 and promptly competed in the NASA Utah 6-Hour endurance race in July 2021 at Utah Motorsports Campus.

Like all other AMG GT3 Evo models, the bodywork is vastly different than any road-going AMG GT. Key upgrades include a revised front bumper with a large splitter and pronounced aerodynamic canards, bespoke front quarter panels with louvers, a unique hood, revised rocker panels, and door skins. Visible at the rear is a towering rear wing and a unique carbon fiber diffuser. Making this example stand out from all others is a custom multi-colored wrap.

Elsewhere, the Mercedes sits on 18-inch center-locking wheels, featuring adjustable coilovers and sway bars. The cabin is as sparse as you would expect any serious race car to be and includes just a single seat with a Schroth multi-point harness, a two-way radio, a racing steering wheel, and a MoTeC data logger and gauge cluster, as the listing over at Bring A Trailer notes.

One interesting thing about the AMG GT3 is that it does not have the same 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 as the road car. Instead, it is equipped with the older Mercedes 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8 with 550 hp.
